Lens Zeiss Batis 85mm f / 1.8 for Sony E
The Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 lens is a fixed aperture telephoto model for mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensors, but can also be used with APS-C models, where it will provide a 127.5mm equivalent focal length.
Sonnar's optical concept combines a large maximum aperture and long focal length to deliver remarkable sharpness, well-controlled flare and high contrast.
The f/1.8 maximum aperture is suitable for low-light work and offers greater control over depth of field.
Three Anomalous Partial Dispersion elements are used to significantly reduce color fringing and chromatic aberration, and the ZEISS T coating minimizes reflections for increased clarity, sharpness, contrast and color accuracy.
A linear motor ensures fast, precise and quiet autofocus, and optical image stabilization compensates for camera shake and vibration for stunning crystal-clear images without blurred contours.
The integrated OLED display on the top of the lens shows the Focus Distance and DoF, and the dust and moisture resistant construction allows operation even in adverse weather conditions.
