The EF 24-70mm f / 4L IS USM is a Canon L-series lens that covers wide-to-short telephoto distances and has a constant maximum aperture of f / 4. Flexible zoom range
Shoot various subjects - from landscapes to portraits and documentary photography. The EF 24-70mm f / 4L IS USM is the ideal standard lens for Canon full-frame DSLR cameras that combines the functions of a wide-angle, standard and telephoto lens and offers a constant maximum aperture of f / 4 that is independent of zoom setting.
Macro mode
A separate position for the macro mode of the zoom ring allows close focusing up to 0.38 m from each position of the zoom and a maximum magnification factor of 0.7x from the actual size of the subject.
Image stabilization technology
Shoot without a tripod in low light at shutter speeds up to four steps below standard. Image Stabilization (IS) technology automatically detects when a photographer moves the camera (horizontally or vertically) to follow moving subjects, and disables stabilization in that direction. Hybrid IS technology recognizes angular and linear motions in macro mode.
High performance optical construction
Capture high quality images throughout the zoom range. Two types of aspherical elements have been used in conjunction with UD elements to effectively reduce optical scattering. Super Spectra coatings minimize glare and maximize contrast.
