Description
The Smallrig 4984 X-Touch Smart Triple-Proof V-Mount Battery X99 is a professional lithium-ion V-Mount battery with a capacity of 99 Wh, designed to power cameras, cinema cameras, monitors, wireless video systems and LED lighting. The model has a nominal voltage of 14.54 V, a capacity of 6800 mAh and a maximum total output power of 100 W. The kit includes one X99 battery, a USB-C cable with power support up to 240 W, a user manual and an operational manual. The built-in two USB-C ports, USB-A, two D-Tap outputs, the BP output and separate 8 V and 12 V DC outputs allow powering several compatible devices from a single source. This makes the battery suitable for professional shooting configurations where simultaneous powering of a camera and peripheral equipment is required.
A key feature of the X99 is the 2-inch color touch display with anti-reflective coating, through which battery parameters and the status of connected outputs can be monitored. The intelligent management system allows monitoring and control via the SmallGoGo mobile application, including port management and checking the available energy. The battery uses high-quality LG cells and an integrated battery management system (BMS), which monitors electrical parameters and assists in safe power distribution. The two USB-C ports support Power Delivery with a power of up to 100 W each, allowing powering compatible devices such as laptops, monitors and certain camera models via a suitable cable.
The housing is made of flame-retardant PC and ABS materials, reinforced with aluminum elements. The construction is designed for operation in harsh conditions, offering IP54 protection against dust and water splashes and resistance to drops from a height of up to 1.5 m. Reinforced corners and edges provide additional mechanical protection when transported and used on set. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads are provided for attachment to compatible mounting systems. The dimensions of 125 × 79 × 68 mm and the weight of about 880 g allow the battery to be integrated into compact rigs and mobile configurations.
Charging can be done via USB-C with Power Delivery support up to 100W or via compatible BP and D-Tap inputs. When using a suitable USB-C PD charger with a power of at least 100W, a full charge takes approximately two hours. The multi-port system allows for simultaneous powering of different devices, with each output having certain voltage and current limits. This provides flexibility in building professional video systems, without the need for a separate battery for each component. SMALLRIG X99 is suitable for videographers, cameramen, photographers and teams who need a compact, durable and intelligently managed power supply for studio and field work.
