Description
The Yolocam S7 Kit is a set of the YoloCam S7 camera and the YoloLiv 18mm F1.4 Micro Four Thirds Lens for professional video recording, streaming and online communication, which combines a camera with a 4/3-inch CMOS sensor and a fast fixed focal length lens. The system supports video output with a resolution of up to 4K UHD at 60 frames per second and is designed for direct integration with computers, video encoders and broadcast equipment. The interchangeable Micro Four Thirds mount allows the use of compatible optics, and the included 18mm focal length lens provides an angle of view suitable for interviews, podcasts, presentations and filming a presenter in a studio. The combination of a relatively large sensor and fast optics allows for better control over the image and separation of the subject from the background.
The camera uses a Sony IMX CMOS sensor with Dual Native ISO technology, which provides two basic sensitivity modes for operation in different light levels. Autofocus is based on Time-of-Flight (ToF) measurement of the distance to the subject and is designed to quickly adjust sharpness. Auto and manual focus modes are provided, and exposure, ISO and white balance settings can be adapted to shooting conditions. The body is made of aluminum and is designed to effectively dissipate heat during prolonged use. This makes the camera suitable for long broadcasts, online events and studio configurations where a constant video source is required.
The included YoloLiv 18mm F1.4 is an MFT-mount lens with an optical construction of 7 elements in 7 groups. The maximum aperture of f/1.4 lets in a significant amount of light and allows for control over depth of field, which is useful when shooting indoors and creating shots with softly blurred backgrounds. The lens features a motorized autofocus system and the ability to manually correct focus. The filter thread is 46 mm, and the minimum focusing distance is 19 cm according to published specifications. The focal length of 18 mm corresponds to approximately 36 mm on a full-frame system and offers a balanced perspective for capturing a person along with some of the environment.
For connectivity, the camera has a USB-C 3.0 and HDMI output, which can be used simultaneously for different tasks. USB-C allows direct connection to a computer in webcam mode, without the need for a separate video capture card, and HDMI provides connection to video mixers, monitors and compatible encoders. MJPEG, H.264, NV12 and YUY2 video formats are supported, with available resolutions depending on the interface and mode. YoloLiv Compose software for Windows and macOS allows for image parameter management and camera settings. The kit is suitable for streamers, podcasters, educators, online presentations and studio productions that require a compact system with 4K video, fast autofocus and the ability to integrate into various work configurations.
