The Panasonic AW-UE150AKEJ 4K Integrated PTZ Camera is a professional PTZ camera for TV and video productions, events, studios, conferences, streaming and multi-camera systems. It combines a 1-inch MOS sensor with 8.29 MP effective resolution, UHD 4K video up to 60p and 20x optical zoom, while offering precise remote control and a rich set of professional interfaces.
1-inch sensor and 4K 60p video
The 1-inch MOS sensor delivers UHD 4K images with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and supports frame rates up to 59.94 fps. The camera also offers Full HD modes up to 59.94 fps, allowing it to be used for both 4K production and standard HD broadcast systems.
The sensor offers a gain range of 0 to 36 dB, with an extended range of up to 42 dB. The shutter speed can be set from 1/25 to 1/10000 second, allowing precise control over exposure in a variety of shooting conditions.
20x optical zoom
The lens has a focal length of 8.8–176 mm, equivalent to 24.5–490 mm in 35mm format. The 20x optical zoom allows for both wide-angle shots and detailed shots from a long distance.
In UHD 4K, the camera offers 24x iZoom, and in Full HD, the zoom reaches 32x. The horizontal angle of view varies from 75.1° to 4°, and the maximum aperture is f/2.8–4.5.
Precise PTZ control
The Panasonic 4K Integrated PTZ Camera offers a wide range of pan and tilt. The Pan movement is 350°, with a range of -175° to +175°, while the Tilt movement is 240°, with a range of -30° to +210°.
The pan speed can be adjusted from 0.08 to 180°/second. The camera supports up to 100 preset positions under IP or RS-422 control, making it easy to work with multi-camera productions and complex stage configurations.
Professional SDI and HDMI outputs
The camera features an HDMI 2.0 output, a 12G-SDI output, and two 3G-SDI outputs, allowing it to be integrated into both modern 4K systems and professional SDI infrastructures.
UHD 4K up to 59.94 fps is supported via HDMI and SDI, as well as multiple Full HD modes. The camera can output audio along with HDMI, SDI and IP video signals.
IP streaming and NDI
For network workflows, the Panasonic 4K Integrated PTZ Camera supports H.264, H.265 and MJPEG, as well as NDI HX, NDI HX2, RTMP, RTMPS and SRT. IP streaming is possible up to UHD 4K at 60p.
This allows the camera to be integrated directly into live streaming systems, remote production, online broadcasting and IP-based broadcast environments without the need for a separate converter for the main network protocols.
HDR, V-Log and OLPF
The camera features an HDR mode with BT.2020 support, which allows for wider dynamic range under appropriate production conditions.
V-Log output is available for professional color processing and subsequent color grading. The built-in OLPF filter helps reduce unwanted artifacts when capturing fine repeating structures.
Professional connectivity
The Panasonic 4K Integrated PTZ Camera features an RJ45 interface for network connection, an RJ45 interface for RS-422 control, and a BNC Genlock input for synchronization with other devices.
An SFP+ slot is also built in, allowing the use of optical connectivity in professional video installations. This is especially useful in production environments where the camera must be located further away from the control or technical area.
Audio and power
For connecting an external audio source, the camera features a 3.5 mm stereo Mic/Line input. The audio signal can be embedded into the HDMI, SDI and IP video outputs.
The camera supports PoE++ power supply according to IEEE 802.3bt, which allows power and data transmission over the network cable and facilitates installation in professional environments. A 4-pin XLR input is also available for local DC power.
Professional construction
The housing measures 21.3 x 26.7 x 21.9 cm and weighs approximately 4.2 kg. The camera uses a standard 1/4"-20 thread for mounting and is designed for permanent or mobile installation in studios, halls, stages and other professional spaces.
