Native 8K/60fps for high-detail 360° video
One of the main features of the DJI Osmo 360 II is the ability to shoot native 8K/60fps 360° video. The panoramic mode records at a resolution of 7680 × 3840 pixels at 24, 25, 30, 48, 50 or 60fps, allowing you to choose between different frame rates depending on the specific scene and the desired visual result. The large 2.4 μm pixels and high-performance processor are optimized for capturing fast motion, with the goal of keeping the footage clear and with minimal blur. This is especially useful for motorsports, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and other dynamic activities where the camera is constantly changing its position.
14.5 stops of dynamic range and HDR photography
The extended dynamic range of 14.5 stops is designed to provide a greater range between the darkest and brightest areas of a scene. This is especially valuable in high-contrast conditions, such as when shooting against a bright sky, in scenes with direct sunlight, or in urban environments with a mix of bright and dark areas. For photography, the camera supports 360° panoramic images with a resolution of 15520 × 7760 pixels, or 120 MP, as well as single-lens photos with a resolution of 6400 × 4800 pixels, or 30.72 MP. Photo files can be recorded in JPEG and RAW format, which provides greater freedom for professional post-processing.
AI SuperNight 2.0 for low-light shooting
The DJI Osmo 360 II uses AI SuperNight 2.0 to improve the quality of night and low-light shooting. The advanced noise reduction algorithm is designed to create clearer and brighter footage when available light is limited. Panorama SuperNight supports 8K and 6K video at various frame rates, including up to 60fps. Combined with the high resolution, f/1.9 aperture and 14.5-stop dynamic range, the system expands the camera's capabilities beyond traditional daytime action shooting.
Creative modes and high-speed video
Osmo 360 II offers multiple modes for creating different types of content. 16K 360° Timelapse allows for capturing long-term processes in extremely high resolution, with Clouds, Sunset and Custom modes available. In Vortex, the camera supports 8K at 100/120fps, and the 6K mode reaches 180/200fps. Panorama Slow Motion allows recording in 4K at up to 240fps, allowing for extreme slow-motion of dynamic moments. In single-lens mode, Boost Video supports 4K video at up to 120fps, including in vertical 9:16 formats, making the camera suitable for content intended for social networks.
10-bit and D-Log M for professional post-production
All video formats support 10-bit color depth, providing over a billion colors and more information for post-processing. The D-Log M profile further expands the possibilities for professional color correction and creating a consistent visual style. The maximum video bitrate reaches 220 Mbps, and with 16K 360° Timelapse it can reach 600 Mbps. Video material is recorded in OSV and MP4 (HEVC), and photos can be stored as JPEG or RAW. These features make the Osmo 360 II suitable not only for direct publishing, but also for more serious post-production.
RockSteady 3.0, HorizonSteady and Pre-Rec
To stabilize dynamic footage, the camera features RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady electronic stabilization. For panoramic video, the stabilization mode can be selected when exporting via DJI Mimo or DJI Studio, while for single-lens shooting, HorizonSteady has specific limitations depending on the format and frame rate. The Pre-Rec function allows pre-recording with a duration of 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds, as well as 1, 2 or 5 minutes. This is useful in situations where the important moment may happen unexpectedly and you do not want to rely solely on the moment of pressing the record button.
Spotlight Follow and voice and gesture control
Spotlight Follow intelligently tracks the selected subject and keeps it centered in the frame, regardless of how the camera is rotated. This reduces the need for manual reframing and is especially practical when shooting moving people or objects. Gesture Control and Voice Control complement the control by allowing you to start and control the camera without constantly using physical buttons. This is especially useful for motorsports, as recording can be started without taking your hands off the controls.
128GB memory and microSD up to 1TB
The camera has 128GB of internal memory, of which 105GB is available to the user. This provides significant space for recording even when an external memory card is not available. If necessary, the capacity can be expanded via a microSD card with support for cards up to 1TB. This is especially convenient for long trips, sports activities and professional productions where large amounts of high-resolution material are captured. Support for the exFAT file system is suitable for working with large video files.
Interchangeable lenses and compact design
The Osmo 360 II is equipped with interchangeable lenses, both of which use ultra-hard optical film for improved scratch and wear resistance. In the event of damage, the lens can be replaced, allowing the camera to be restored to operation without the need to replace the entire device. The dimensions of the camera are 61 × 36.3 × 81 mm, and the weight is only 183 g. The combination of compact design and low weight makes it convenient to carry when traveling and for mounting on various accessories.
Water resistance and operation in extreme conditions
The camera has IP68 protection and is waterproof up to 10 m without an additional Waterproof Case, and with the Osmo 360 Invisible Waterproof Case it can be used up to 50 m. However, DJI states that for underwater shooting, the use of a Waterproof Case is recommended due to the specific refraction of light in the convex fisheye lens, which can lead to image distortions. The camera operates in temperatures from -20°C to 45°C, which allows use in both winter sports and warm conditions.
Battery and continuous shooting
The built-in Li-ion battery has a capacity of 2150 mAh, an energy of 8.3 Wh and a nominal voltage of 3.86 V. It provides up to 100 minutes of continuous recording of 8K/30fps panoramic video under laboratory conditions. The operating time depends on the settings and conditions of use, including the activation of functions such as Wi-Fi, Gesture Control, Voice Control and the screen. The battery can be charged to 80% in approximately 22 minutes, and using the Battery Extension Rod, the operating time can be extended by up to 180 minutes.
2-inch touchscreen display and connectivity
The Osmo 360 II features a 2-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 314 × 556 pixels and a brightness of 800 cd/m², which provides direct control of key functions and convenient framing. The camera uses Wi-Fi 6 for fast wireless communication and Bluetooth 5.4, and the NFC zone allows for faster connection to the DJI Mimo app. The built-in four-microphone system and wind noise reduction design provide clear sound directly from the camera. The Osmo 360 II also supports direct connection to DJI Mic 3, DJI Mic 2, DJI Mic Mini 2S, DJI Mic Mini 2 and DJI Mic Mini.
