The Arcana Series’ anamorphic construction combines cylindrical optical elements with an oval diaphragm to create the distinctive image characteristic of cinema optics. When properly decompressed, the 1.5x factor restores horizontal proportions and allows for the creation of widescreen compositions. The oval bokeh and horizontal light flares contribute to the cinematic character of the image. This visual signature is suitable for feature films, commercials, music videos, documentaries and independent film projects where atmosphere and visual style are an essential part of the narrative.
The three focal lengths allow operators to choose a different perspective depending on the scene. The 32mm lens is suitable for long shots, interiors, landscapes and scenes where it is important to maintain the context of the environment. The 45mm model offers a balanced perspective for medium shots, dialogue and everyday situations, while the 75mm is suitable for portraits, close-ups and details where a stronger visual separation of the character from the background is sought. This allows them to be used for both wider compositions and closer shots.
The set is designed with consistency in mind for professional shooting. The three lenses have the same 80mm front diameter, M77 filter thread, and standard 0.8 gear rings for focus and aperture. This makes it easy to work with common accessories, including compatible matte boxes, filters, and focus control systems. The compact length of 80mm and weight between 695 and 709g per lens allow for easier balancing when working with gimbals and other stabilization systems.
The housings are made of aluminum alloy with a titanium-colored finish.
