The SmallRig 4571 Cage Kit for Sony BURANO is a professional kit designed to expand and protect the Sony BURANO cinema camera . The kit includes a modular cage, top handle, 15mm LWS system, monitor stand with HawkLock mechanism, HDMI cable clamp, wireless video transmitter stand and quick-release LWS base, making it suitable for professional cinema, television and advertising productions.
The new HawkLock system on the monitor stand allows for quick switching between LCD and viewfinder use, making it easier to adapt to different shooting situations and speeding up camera setup.
The kit features a 15mm LWS system that provides mounting for follow focus, matte boxes, and other professional cinema accessories. The top modular bracket for two 15mm rails offers a lower center of gravity than standard LWS configurations, which improves balance when shooting handheld and reduces strain on the video head when working with a tripod.
For added functionality, the cage offers a wide range of mounting points, including ARRI 3/8"-16, 1/4"-20, QD sockets, NATO rails, Cold Shoe and ARRI Dovetail Clamp. All main modules, including the top handle and 15mm LWS base, can be mounted and removed without tools, making it easy to transport and quickly change configurations. The kit is not compatible with the original Sony BURANO top handle.
