Description

The 24mm lens is suitable for wide shots, architecture, interiors and scenes where it is important to capture more space. The 35mm focal length offers a natural perspective for documentary productions, street scenes, interviews and shots with people. The 50mm version is suitable for portraits, details and tighter compositions where the separation of the subject from the background is important. The overall maximum aperture of T1.4 provides similar exposure and shallow depth of field capabilities across all three focal lengths. This allows the operator to change lenses according to the shot without changing the overall visual character of the production.

The optical construction is designed for high detail and control of optical aberrations. The 24 mm and 35 mm lenses use 14 elements in 11 groups, while the 50 mm is built from 14 elements in 10 groups. Depending on the model, aspherical elements, ED glass and HRI glass are used, which help control chromatic aberrations, light scattering and overall sharpness. A multi-layer nano coating reduces unwanted reflections, flare and halos in backlighting. The manufacturer states minimal focus breathing at 24 mm and 35 mm and slightly pronounced at 50 mm, which helps to make framing changes more natural during refocusing.

All three lenses feature manual focus control and continuous aperture control, typical of cinema optics. The focus ring travel is 270°, which allows for more precise and smooth focus transitions when working with a follow focus system. The 0.8 MOD gear rims are compatible with widely used professional focus control systems. Each lens has a 67 mm filter thread and a 72 mm front outer diameter, which facilitates the use of common accessories. The similar gear rim layout and close body dimensions help when changing lenses on a rig or gimbal, limiting the need to reposition accessories.

The kit uses an interchangeable mount system designed to adapt to various mirrorless and cinema cameras. The series is built with an original Sony E mount and supports interchangeable mounts for Canon RF, Nikon Z and L-Mount. The kit includes the corresponding interchangeable mounts for the three lenses, which provides flexibility when working with different compatible systems. The minimum focusing distance is 0.26 m at 24 mm, 0.30 m at 35 mm and 0.43 m at 50 mm, allowing for close-up shots and working in confined spaces. The combination of three main focal lengths, T1.4 aperture and cinema-oriented mechanics makes the kit suitable for advertising videos, documentaries, interviews, short films and independent productions.
