The Sirui Astra 50mm T1.8 FF AF 1.33X Anamorphic lens is a full-frame anamorphic lens with autofocus, 1.33x compression and neutral flare effect, designed for cinematic video with a characteristic wide vision and natural color reproduction. Compatible with Nikon Z mount, the lens offers a T1.8 maximum aperture, Full Frame coverage (44 mm image circle) and electronic communication with the camera. It features an 11-blade diaphragm, a minimum focusing distance of 0.5 m and a standard 67 mm filter thread, making it a practical and versatile choice for a variety of shooting situations.
One of the most significant advantages of this model is the presence of autofocus and full body communication, which is rare in anamorphic lenses. The anamorphic design with 1.33x squeeze creates the characteristic widescreen cinematic effect by expanding the horizontal field of view to 56.8° and giving a more dramatic perspective. The neutral flare effect preserves the natural look of light reflections without strong coloration, which is especially suitable for projects seeking a more realistic look.
The T1.8 aperture allows for working in lower light and provides excellent control over depth of field. The 11-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth bokeh effect and natural separation of the subject from the background.
