The Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Recorder HD is a compact PCIe video capture card designed for professional video production, streaming and high-quality recording. It features a 3G-SDI input (BNC) and HDMI 2.0 input, allowing you to work with a variety of signal sources in a studio or mobile environment.
The card supports a wide range of video formats, including SD, HD and DCI 2K, providing capture up to 1080p at 60 frames per second and 2K up to 60fps. SDI input supports 4:4:4 RGB up to 1080p30, as well as 4:2:2 YUV up to 2K60, 1080p60 and 1080i60, while the HDMI input allows operation up to 1080p60, 1080i60 and 720p60, as well as standard SD formats such as 576i50 and 480i59.94.
DeckLink Mini Recorder HD offers high color depth of up to 12-bit and support for 4:2:2 YUV and 4:4:4 RGB, ensuring accurate color reproduction and suitable for professional post-production and color correction. The device supports industry standards such as SMPTE 259M, 274M, 296M, 424M and 425M, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of equipment.
Audio is transmitted over the video signal, with up to 16 channels available over SDI and up to 8 channels over HDMI, eliminating the need for a separate audio interface and streamlining the workflow.
The card is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux, allowing integration into various operating environments and software solutions. With a low power consumption of about 3 W, it is suitable for continuous operation without additional load on the system.
The compact dimensions of 91.95 mm and a weight of about 56 g allow for easy installation in various computer configurations. It is important to keep in mind that the model is designed only for input signal, without the possibility of video output and without support for simultaneous recording from both inputs.
