The TTArtisan 35mm T2.1 Dual Bokeh Cine Lens for Canon RF is a full-frame cine lens designed for photographers seeking artistic control over their vision and a distinctive bokeh effect. Part of the Dual Bokeh series, the model offers the option of a different style of defocus, allowing for a more creative approach to framing.
The 35mm focal length is a versatile solution for film production – suitable for dialogue scenes, street vision, dynamic shots and establishing shots. The 63° horizontal angle of view at full-frame coverage provides a balanced perspective without aggressive distortion.
The maximum aperture of T2.1 allows for working in lower light and more pronounced separation of the subject from the background. The minimum value of T22 provides control in bright scenes. The 11-blade diaphragm contributes to a smoother and rounded bokeh, which is a key element in film production.
One of the distinctive features of the model is the Dual Bokeh system, which allows you to choose between two different visual styles: Bubble and Soft mode. In Bubble mode, out-of-focus points of light acquire a more pronounced outline and a characteristic “bubble” effect, creating a more dramatic and artistic atmosphere. In Soft mode, the defocus is smoother and creamier, with a gentler transition between the subject and the background. This ability to choose the nature of the bokeh directly during shooting provides additional creative flexibility without the need for additional filters or processing.
The optical construction includes 10 elements in 7 groups, optimized for aberration control and the characteristic Dual Bokeh effect. The minimum focusing distance is 0.28m, allowing for close-up shots with enhanced perspective.
