The 7Artisans Floral Bloom 37mm T2.9 Cine Lens is a wide-angle cine lens with an ARRI PL mount, designed for full-frame sensors and created for photographers seeking an artistic, softer visual character. Part of the Floral Bloom series, this model offers a distinctive “bloom” effect and delicate softening and a slight glow around bright light sources, giving the frame a more atmospheric and cinematic look.
The 37mm focal length provides wide coverage with a 101° horizontal angle of view, making it suitable for interior scenes, establishing shots, dynamic handheld shots and scenes with a strong sense of space. Despite the wide angle, the optical design is designed to maintain balanced geometry and control distortion.
The maximum aperture of T2.9 allows for working in lower light and controlling depth of field, while the minimum aperture of T22 provides flexibility when greater depth of field is needed in bright conditions. The 9-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth and natural background defocus.
The optical scheme includes 6 elements in 5 groups and is optimized to achieve the characteristic Floral Bloom effect without losing overall image clarity. The minimum focusing distance is 35 cm, which allows shooting close subjects with a pronounced perspective.
The lens is entirely mechanical and has no electronic communication or stabilization. The focus ring offers 300° rotation for extremely precise control, standard in professional cinema lenses. The focus and iris are equipped with 0.8 MOD gears, compatible with standard follow focus systems and cinema accessories.
The front diameter is 79 mm, the filter thread is 72 mm, which allows the use of standard filters. The length is 64 mm, and the weight is 344 g, which makes it compact and suitable for various rig configurations, including stabilizers.
