The Ugreen DXP8800 Plus NASync accessory is a flagship 8-bay network storage designed for professional environments with extremely high requirements for capacity, speed and reliability. The model features 8 bays for 3.5" SATA III drives and supports a total capacity of up to 176 TB, making it suitable for large video archives, post-production studios, corporate backup systems and central file storage for teams.
The system is powered by a 12th generation Intel Core i5-1235U processor, with 10 cores, a combination of high-performance and energy-efficient cores, operating at up to 4.4 GHz. This provides excellent computing power for parallel tasks, large file processing, and multi-user access. The NAS is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, expandable up to 64 GB, allowing it to adapt to future needs and heavier workloads.
The DXP8800 Plus offers a wide range of RAID configurations – RAID 1, 5, 6, 10, JBOD and Basic – allowing precise control over the balance between capacity, performance and security. RAID 6 is particularly suitable for environments where fault tolerance is critical, while RAID 10 provides high speed and reliability for active data operations.
One of the model's strongest advantages is the presence of two 10GbE network ports that support link aggregation, allowing for significantly higher throughput and more stable network operation. This is key when working with large files directly from the NAS, as well as in environments with multiple simultaneous users.
Connectivity is complemented by two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports that allow direct high-speed connection to professional workstations. There are also two USB-A Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports, an HDMI output for local display, and an SD/SDHC/SDXC slot for fast data import from memory cards.
The DXP8800 Plus features a PCIe x4 slot that allows for future hardware expansion as system needs change. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics provides hardware acceleration for visualization and multimedia tasks, which is useful for local monitoring and certain workflows.
The device runs on UGOS Pro, an operating system optimized for stability and intuitive control. It supports management via a mobile application for Android and iOS, which allows remote access, monitoring and management of the system.
