Description
The Peak Design Cuff Rope is a lightweight and extremely durable wrist strap designed for photographers and active users who want security without the bulk. It's designed for everyday use with cameras and compact devices where control and drop protection are paramount.
The strap is made of braided nylon and polyester cord, which combines low weight with very high durability. The strap itself can withstand a load of up to 81.6 kg, and the anchor-type connector system used is tested for a load of up to 90.7 kg, which provides confidence even with heavier equipment. Despite its strength, the Cuff Rope remains extremely lightweight – weighing about 21 g, making it almost invisible when worn.
The strap length is adjustable from 22.1 to 27.9 cm to comfortably fit a variety of wrist sizes. When the camera is released, the strap automatically tightens around the wrist, further reducing the risk of dropping it when moving, shooting one-handed, or working in dynamic environments.
Thanks to the quick release, the Cuff Rope can be easily removed or transferred between different devices. Its compact profile of 0.79 cm wide and low weight make it a discreet accessory that does not get in the way when not actively in use.
