The Hohem iSteady MT2 Kit with Magnetic AI Tracking Module is a versatile, professional-grade 3-axis gimbal designed for content creators working with smartphones, action cameras, and mirrorless cameras. With a payload capacity of up to 1200g, a sturdy aircraft-grade aluminum construction, and advanced stabilization algorithms, the model offers reliable performance both for mobile shooting and in more complex hybrid configurations. Support for vertical and horizontal video, combined with intelligent tracking and quick device switching, makes it a universal solution for modern video productions.
iSteady MT2 uses iSteady 7.0 stabilization algorithms, which ensure smooth and natural movement even when shooting on the move or with a sharp change in direction. The panoramic axis supports unlimited 360° rotation, which allows for creative transitions and continuous tracking of the subject. Roll 200° and Tilt up to 290° guarantee a stable frame at different angles and shooting heights. The motor protection system automatically turns off the gimbal in case of unbalanced load, which protects the mechanics during intensive use.
The gimbal features an advanced Multi 4.0 quick release system based on the Arca-Swiss standard. Thanks to the removable L-bracket, switching between different devices is quick and easy without the need for rebalancing. The design also makes it easy to work in a vertical format, which is especially important when creating content for social networks. Several configurations are supported for vertical video, including a convenient selfie mode with a foldable screen.
The included magnetic AI module provides automatic tracking without the need for an app or Bluetooth connection. Gesture control allows you to start and stop tracking completely contactlessly, and the intelligent sensor can work with both the front and rear cameras of the smartphone. The module also includes built-in fill light with two modes - adjustable color temperature (warm and cool light) and RGB ambient lighting, which adds creative control in different scenes.
iSteady MT2 allows for both wired and wireless camera control, eliminating the need to directly press the button on the device. Special modes include ultra-wide-angle shooting activated directly from the gimbal, as well as Inception mode with continuous 360° rotation for impressive visual effects. These features expand creative possibilities without additional accessories or software.
The built-in 2600 mAh (7.4 V / 19.24 Wh) battery provides up to 17 hours of operation in standard use and about 6–8 hours with active use of AI tracking and lighting. Charging takes approximately 3 hours, and stable operation is guaranteed in a temperature range of -10°C to 45°C, making the gimbal suitable for both indoor and outdoor shooting.
