Description
The Canon EOS R7 is a relatively compact mirrorless camera with an APS-C sensor, designed primarily for speed and performance in everyday photography and video, events and wildlife.
The model is equipped with a completely new 32.5-megapixel APS-C sensor (crop factor 1.6x), which, together with the DIGIC X processor, provides UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) 60p 10-bit video with Canon Log 3, 4K 30p video , sampled by 7K and Full HD 120p with no time limit. HDR-PQ recording for HDR video directly in the camera is also possible, as well as external recording via micro-HDMI. To further enhance the video, an external microphone input, headphone output and a multifunctional accessory case are available.
The 5-axis stabilization of the Canon EOS R7 sensor provides compensation of up to 7 steps, and when working with the stabilization of compatible lenses - up to 8 steps for trouble-free hand shooting in adverse lighting conditions.
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus system (same as the Canon EOS R3 with a range of up to -5 EV) uses 651 AF points with phase detection, which cover the entire sensor and provide fast and accurate focusing and tracking of objects - people, animals and vehicles, including video recording. The maximum shooting speed (with AF / AE) is up to 30 fps with electronic shutter and up to 15 fps with mechanical.
The body of the Canon EOS R7 is strong and protected from dust and moisture. It is equipped with a rotating touch screen for easy shooting from different angles and selfies, with built-in flash, multifunctional shoe for accessories, USB Type C, micro HDMI, 3.5mm audio input and output and offers 2.4GHz Wi-Fi + Bluetooth for file transfer and remote control. A convenient joystick with a selector located next to the viewfinder is available, as well as a dual SD memory card slot.

- HLA (High Response Linear Actuator) ensures fast and accurate focusing, as well as smooth tracking of moving subjects.
- A maximum magnification of 1:2 at the 70mm position ensures high-quality macro shots.
- OS2 stabilization, which compensates for up to 6 stops at the wide end and 4.5 stops at the long end.
Excellent optical quality
- The Sigma 16-300mm Contemporary's optical design includes low dispersion elements and four aspherical lenses to reduce aberrations and achieve excellent sharpness and color accuracy.
- The lens is optimized to reduce flare and ghosting, providing crystal clear images.
- Controlled focus breathing, making the lens ideal for video and multi-frame composites.
Compact, lightweight and durable
Despite its wide zoom range, the lens is relatively light and compact. A water and oil-repellent coating on the front element makes cleaning easy, and a zoom lock prevents unwanted movement during transport.
