Its key advantage is the combination of tilt and shift movements with a true 1:1 macro magnification, which allows capturing objects in life-size on the sensor. The tilt mechanism with a range of ±10° allows for tilting the focal plane and selective control of the area of focus, which is extremely useful in macro and product scenes where the subject does not lie in one plane. The shift function with a travel of ±12 mm allows optically moving the image relative to the sensor, preserving straight verticals and horizontals without the need for post-production corrections, especially valuable in architectural and interior photography.
