The Samyang V-AF 20mm T1.9 lens is part of Samyang's new V-AF series - the world's first autofocus cinema lenses and has been developed for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras.
The Samyang V-AF 20mm T1.9 is a compact cinema and video lens designed with the video maker in mind, whether solo or in small productions. It is particularly suitable for gimbal and drone use, with the rest of the lenses in the series having the same dimensions for maximum convenience.
The lens is equipped with two light tally indicators in the front and back, which signal the recording status as conveniently as possible. A programmable switch via the Samyang Lens Station provides quick access to settings. The focus hold button can also be reprogrammed. The case is protected against dust and splashes of water.
The Samyang V-AF 20mm T1.9 covers a large resolution for quality video capture up to 8K, while offering a large maximum aperture and smooth precise bokeh. The color rendition of the lens is unified with that of the rest of the series to facilitate post-production.
The lens's STM motor provides fast, quiet and precise autofocus. Linear focusing with 300° travel ensures extremely smooth focus transfer from one subject to another.
