Description
The Viltrox AF 85MM F/1.4 II XF lens is a fixed aperture short telephoto lens for mirrorless cameras with a crop sensor and is particularly suitable for portrait photography.
The lens features a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture that allows it to be used even in low light and provides better control over depth of field when working with selective focus techniques.
The optical scheme includes one ultra-low dispersion element, one aspherical element and four elements made of highly transparent glass that reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations to realize high clarity and sharpness of images. The multi-layer HD Nano coating ensures accurate color balance, improves contrast and serves to reduce glare. Also, this coating is waterproof to protect exposed surfaces from moisture.
The STM motor provides fast, precise and quiet autofocus and a minimum focusing distance of 80cm.
Electronic contacts transmit Exif data between the body and lens, as well as allowing camera-based aperture selection. A built-in USB port allows lens firmware to be updated.
