Sony UWP-D22/K33 Bodypack Wireless Microphone Package is a system for wireless transfer of an audio signal with a latency of only 0.35 ms at a distance of up to 100 m.
The set includes a Sony URX-P40 transmitter, a Sony UTX-M40 wireless handheld microphone and accessories.
The UWP-D22 offers digital signal processing for pure audio and analog UHF transmission. By using the optional SMAD-P5 Multi Interface MI shoe adapter, you can provide a direct, clean digital audio connection to your camera or XDCAM camcorder (when equipped with a Digital Multi Interface Shoe).
Sony UWP-D22 offers several convenient features such as automatic NFC channel tuning, Auto-Gain to prevent distortion, channel memory, DSP filter .
The receiver has an external microphone input connector for adding an additional wired microphone. Both the transmitter and receiver feature easy-to-read OLED displays. Their fast response gives you accurate real-time information even in bright sunlight.
Unlike traditional analog wireless systems, the UWP-D complements its proven analog UHF transmission technology with its own digital audio processing. Transitional sounds and consonants are reproduced with greater accuracy, resulting in a clear, natural sound that is intelligible and nuanced.
The microphone is optimized to capture clear and intelligible speech. It captures sound from all directions, allowing for a variety of placement options and freedom of movement.
The UWP-D22 features a rugged all-metal construction suitable for any working environment and can be powered by batteries, via USB or directly from the camera (with the SMAD-P5 Digital MI Shoe Adapter).
