The Canon PowerShot V10 camcorder is an extremely compact and lightweight model with a simple and easy-to-use design, designed specifically for everyday use by vloggers and other content creators.
The Canon V10 pocket vlog camera offers high-quality stereo sound recording, a wide-angle lens with a fixed focal length of 19mm (35mm equivalent) and a built-in stand that can be tilted up to 30°.
The Canon PowerShot V10 inherits the large 1" 20.9-megapixel CMOS sensor from the Canon PowerShot G series cameras and captures UHD 4K30p uncropped and FHD60p video. In addition to the large built-in microphone, it also has a 3.5mm external microphone input.
The camcorder records up to 1 hour of continuous video, which can be directly streamed in FHD30p without additional software or easily shared via the Canon Camera Connect app and the Canon V10's Wi-Fi connection. The camera automatically orients the video according to its placement - vertically or horizontally.
The wide-angle lens with a 97.5° viewing angle (100.2° for photo) allows easy shooting in selfie mode without having to use a selfie stick, which is further helped by the removable touchscreen display that can be rotated 180°. The lens has a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and together with the wide range of light sensitivity of ISO 125-3200 (125-12800 for photo) allows shooting even in low light.
Autofocus is contrast-detect across the frame, with face tracking and 31 selectable areas if manual intervention is required when taking photos.
14 creative color filters and a skin softening mode are available.
The Canon PowerShot V10 vlog camcorder offers various options for connecting, sharing and transferring files, as well as for remote control. It can be used as a high-quality UVC webcam, and the Camera Connect app allows not only file transfer to a smartphone and live streaming, but also control of multiple functions. In addition to USB-C, a micro-HDMI port is also available.
