Description
The Blackmagic Design ATEM Microphone Converter Audio Converter was developed for building a podcast studio or simply for connecting multiple microphones simultaneously to the Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio live broadcast control panels.
The Blackmagic Design ATEM Microphone Converter converts the signal from up to 4 microphones via XLR inputs to a MADI output for connection to a Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio panel. The devices simply connect to each other with no complicated setup required.
This audio converter is equipped with 32-bit digital floating-point preamps and eight ADCs on each input for clean 24-bit / 48 kHz recording without clipping and distortion, with a wide dynamic range and low noise floor. This allows for much finer settings than the MADI standard supports. Final adjustments can then be made in the Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio audio mixer.
An HDMI output allows the inclusion of a monitor for monitoring the status, and the USB and Ethernet ports enable remote control and updating. A MADI input is also available if you need to connect multiple converters for more than 4 audio channels in one MADI connection.
