Description
The Zoom ZPC-1 Pencil Condenser Microphone are a pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones designed to capture pure stereo sound - in the studio, on stage or outdoors.
They are available in an attractive stereo package. They have a wide frequency range from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, high sensitivity and a cardioid polar pattern, making them a great choice for use with a wide variety of recording applications, acoustic instruments, percussion, strings, woodwinds, etc. Two clips for mounting the mics to stands or stereo tape (sold separately), two foam windshields, and two storage cases are included.
The two microphones work seamlessly together to record the most accurate stereo recording possible using different configurations.
Cardioid polar microphones focus audio pickup on the sound source in front of each microphone, while picking up less sound from the back and sides.
With the ability to handle SPLs up to 134dB, the mics can be placed close to the source for nuanced recordings that demand definition and detail.
48V phantom power is required to power each electret condenser microphone capsule.
With a solid metal body and included foam windshields, both microphones are durable and ready for use in any environment - indoors or outdoors.
