Samyang 24mm T / 1.5 VDSLR MK2 is a wide-angle manual focus lens, specially developed for film and video recording.
The MK2 variant of the Samyang VDSLR series of cinema lenses has standardized multi-layer coatings, focal rings and aperture control rings, with a wide maximum aperture of T1.5 and nine aperture lamellas for a pleasant and soft bokeh.
The lens housings of the series have weather protection and a focusing scale on both sides.
The optical circuit of the Samyang 24mm T / 1.5 VDSLR MK2 includes aspherical elements for improved sharpness and reduced chromatic and geometric aberrations.
The minimum subject distance of the lens is 25 cm, and the angular range varies from 84.1 ° for fullframe cameras to 47.6 ° for micro 4/3.
Samyang 24mm T / 1.5 VDSLR MK2 is equipped with a canopy to eliminate unwanted side light penetration and with a 77 mm thread for filters and other accessories.
