Featuring an impressive telephoto reach , the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital 100-400mm f/5-6.3 ED IS lens is a super long zoom zoom lens for mirrorless cameras with MFT sensors. With its lightweight design, 200mm to 800mm equivalent focal length range and weatherproof construction, it's the ideal model for wildlife, sports and macro photography.
The focusing system provides fast, precise and quiet autofocus, while the o -bird stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake for sharper images when shooting handheld.
Two Super HR (High Refractive Index) elements, three ED (Extremely Low Dispersion) elements and two HR elements significantly reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations for higher clarity and color fidelity, and the ZERO (Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical) coating ) controls glare and reflections for maximum clarity, sharpness and contrast.
The housing includes seals for protection against dust and moisture and allows operation in adverse climatic conditions and low temperatures.
The Olympus M. Zuiko Digital 100-400mm f/5-6.3 ED IS is compatible with the optional M.Zuiko Digital MC-14 1.4x and MC-20 2x teleconverters to further extend the effective range of the lens.
