Description
In 1968, Josef Kudelka was a 30-year-old theater photographer who never shot a report. Everything changed on the night of August 21, when Warsaw Pact tanks invaded Prague and put an end to short-lived liberalization in Czechoslovakia, which became known as the Prague Spring. In the midst of the Soviet-led invasion, Kudelka took hundreds of photos, which he miraculously managed to secretly send west.
