Description

The popular Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder was once again used, but in the X100V the electronic viewfinder was updated at a higher resolution of 3.69 million points. The optical viewfinder has a magnification of 0.52x, which corresponds to the way photographers purists.

The display is 3-inch, with two-way tilting for high and low shooting angles. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi allow wireless transfer of images to a mobile device, as well as remote control of the camera from a smartphone or tablet.

The body design, which is the hallmark of the entire X100 series, is inspired by classic telemetry cameras.

26.1MP APS-C X-Trans BSI CMOS 4 Sensor
Fujifilm X100V Sensor - 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 APS-C Sensor with Rear Lighted Design - Delivers smooth tonal transitions, improved low light performance and a wide ISO 160-12800 light sensitivity range. Like all X-Trans sensors, it also uses a randomized pixel layout scheme. Compared to conventional pixel layouts, the X-Trans design more effectively imitates the organic nature of the film to produce nuanced colors and tonal transitions while reducing moiré.

The sensor design also includes an advanced phase detection autofocus system that has 425 selectable points that cover almost the entire area of the sensor. This system provides faster, more accurate focus in different light conditions up to -5 EV.

UHD and DCI 4K video recording
Expanding beyond shooting, the X100V offers a wide range of video capabilities, including internal DCI / UHD 4K recording at up to 30 frames per second and Full HD recording at up to 120 frames per second. The speed of the X-Processor 4 enables high-speed reading of the sensor when recording video and helps to reduce the rolling shutter defect when capturing moving objects. The micro-HDMI port allows 10-bit 4: 2: 2 recording on an external recorder.

Recycled Fujinon 23mm f / 2 lens
The updated Fujinon 23mm f / 2 lens features a redesigned optical design that incorporates two aspherical elements for improved sharpness and clarity and to reduce spherical misalignment and distortion. Focusing distance is equivalent to 35mm at 35mm standard, making it convenient and suitable for a variety of shooting situations. The large aperture is suitable for use in different lighting conditions and provides greater control over the depth of field. Super EBC coverage works to reduce glare and ghosts for better contrast and color rendering.

The X100V offers a digital teleconverter with a 50mm and 75mm lens focal length equivalent, and the lens is also compatible with optional conversion lenses to extend or narrow the field of view.

Advanced hybrid viewfinder
The unique and well-known Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder combines electronic and optical viewfinder, allowing easy and convenient selection of the benefits of both options. The change is made quickly by means of a special lever located in front of the camera body.

0.52x zoom optical viewfinder provides a clear, realistic scene view for easier composition and object tracking. Its improved design incorporates an electronic rangefinder function that mimics the functionality of a mechanical rangefinder while also overlaying information from the electronic viewfinder to the optical viewfinder for easy manual focus control.

The electronic viewfinder has a high resolution of 3 690 000 tonnes, a high speed of refreshment and personalization of the amount and type of information displayed in the viewfinder.

Movie Simulation
Taking advantage of FUJIFILM's rich history in traditional film photography, the X100V offers several movie simulation modes that mimic the look and feel of some of FUJIFILM's classic movie types:
Provia, Velvia, Astia, Classic Chrome, Classic Neg, PRO Neg, Eterna, Acros, B&W, Sepia.

In addition to simulating specific types of films, a grain mode is also available to reproduce the appearance of old organic-textured film images, which is particularly noticeable when printed.
