Description

Irix 45mm T / 1.5 is a lens from the manufacturer's Cine series - lenses designed specifically for cinema and video recording. Like the other Crix lenses in the Irix series, the 45mm model is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy, and the focus and aperture control bracelets are standardized and located in the same places as the other Cine lenses of the Irix.

Its optical circuit contains 11 elements in 9 groups, and includes four "high-refractive" elements, one "extra-low dispersion" element and one aspherical element. Thanks to the new optical scheme, the lens features a minimal change in the angle of coverage of the frame when focusing (focus breathing).

The lens has nine lamellar apertures and a range of light transmission from T1.5 to T22.

Irix Cine 45mm T / 1.5 is also equipped with a support leg for extra stability, which is necessary given the weight of the lens of 1100 g.
