Description
Lens Sony SEL 18-105mm f / 4 E PZ G OSS
The Sony SEL 18-105mm f / 4 E PZ G OSS is designed for E-mount APS-C format cameras and offers a flexible 35mm equivalent 27-157.5mm zoom range and a constant f / 4 aperture. Two extra-low dispersion elements are included in the lens optical scheme and help reduce chromatic aberration, improve clarity and color neutrality, and three aspherical elements including one Advanced Aspherical (AA) element reduce monochromatic aberrations, coma effect , astigmatism, etc. The Sony SEL 18-105mm f / 4 E PZ G OSS is equipped with an Optical SteadyShot Image Stabilizer to reduce the effect of camera shake, especially at longer focal lengths.
6x G Lens Electromotor zoom for movies and stills
The G Lens lens for E-mount cameras provides still images or movies with 6x zoom flexibility. The maximum aperture is constant at F4 from 18mm wide-angle to 105mm average telephoto with excellent resolution and contrast. A lever and a ring on the cylinder allow the scaling speed to be freely adjusted as needed while maintaining a steady grip.
A lens for a variety of shooting needs
Whether you are shooting stills or movies, the zoom range and fine G Lens quality will be more than adequate for most shooting situations. You also get smooth scaling with electric drive.
Superb reproduction at any focal length
The sophisticated optical design, which features two elements of ED (extremely low dispersion) glass and three aspherical elements, offers enviable G Lens image quality across the entire zoom range.
Scaling technology inherited from professional equipment
Sony Handycam® technology is used in the SELP18105G to provide smooth, quiet zoom, perfect for shooting movies without changing the length of the lens.
Continuous variable speed zoom control
End-to-end zoom control makes smooth scaling possible while maintaining the camera's stable grip. A significant advantage in filmmaking.
Lens configuration
The flawless design of the Sony G Lens contributes to the graceful balance between high definition and beautiful background bokeh that can enhance the artist's vision.
Schematic of MTF
The MTF (Modulation Transmission Function) describes how well the lens can reproduce fine details, measured as the degree of contrast achieved with short distance lines.
