Shoot faster and for longer
The Speedlite 600EX II-RT guarantees faultless operation, making it the perfect complement to the EOS-1D X Mark II. Take up to 50% more photos in a flash series than the Speedlite 600EX-RT and add the CP-E4N battery for even longer shots.
Reliable operation as remote and camera-mounted flash
The improved flash management algorithm prevents overheating, and the Quick Trigger mode allows the Speedlite 600EX II-RT to fire even before full charge is achieved so as not to miss unique moments. The adjustable scattering head adjusts to the viewing angle of the lens used and allows the flash to be reflected from walls and ceilings for a more natural result. The Speedlite 600EX II-RT has the same level of weather resistance as the EOS-1D X Mark II, so you can continue shooting even in harsh conditions.
Included is a reflector flash adapter for softer lighting when shooting portraits, as well as color filters attached to help balance the flash with ambient light.
Creative lighting with remote flash
Simulate light coming from any direction by positioning the Speedlite 600EX II-RT away from the camera. Operate it up to 30 m via the built-in radio or optical control and the ST-E3-RT (optional) flash transmitter. Multiple Speedlite 600EX II-RT flashes can be used (individually or in groups) and combined with other Canon flashes, such as the Speedlite 430EX III-RT.
High power with a leading 60 (m, ISO100)
