The Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f / 1.8G is a solid, normal, and high-power lens with a bright f / 1.8 maximum aperture that provides better depth control. Compact and lightweight, the lens features a built-in ultrasonic motor (SWM) that allows for fast, near-silent autofocus, as well as full manual focus. The optical design enhancements include an aspherical element that helps reduce distortion and spherical aberrations to produce sharpness and clarity of images. The Super Intagrated coating applied to individual elements controls the appearance of glare and helps to achieve greater contrast and color accuracy when operating in bright conditions.
