The optical scheme of the lens includes aspherical elements and one with extremely low dispersion, which successfully correct various chromatic and geometric deviations for sharper images and more accurate color reproduction.
The cover of the Frog Eye front lens protects it from sticking dirt, and the 37 mm thread behind the rear lens allows the installation of photographic filters.
