The LUMIX G9 delivers incredible still images from an innovative camera. Its features include a 20.3 megapixel Live MOS digital sensor without a low pass filter, allowing you to capture your inspiration in the most memorable way.

Focus on what matters ... No matter how fast it moves
The new DFD autofocus with burst mode means that nothing will stop you from taking the shot. With advanced tracking at 20fps in continuous AFC mode, the focus locks in only 0.04 seconds * and continuously monitors the movement. This allows you to make the most of the opportunities that appear and disappear in a split second - or for one movement of the tongue! * For 1-area AF with wide angle H-ES12060 (CIPA) at LVF120 fps setting.

An uncompromising performance in your hands

When you don't have time to mount a tripod and handheld shooting is the only option, dual image stabilization * (IS) (5-axis 6.5 ** F-hundred compensation) means no compromise is made with image quality. This gives you the opportunity to be spontaneous on the spot, whatever passion you are after. Thanks to the compact lens, you can shoot from a distance, even using a telephoto lens, without having to waste time in careful preparation.

Never miss a frame with 6K PHOTO
When shooting nature, the only thing you can be sure of is the unpredictability of what's waiting for you around the corner. That's why the 6K PHOTO feature means you can capture the unexpected by capturing a sequence of 30 frames per second - and then extract the best frame as an 18MP JPEG file.

High resolution mode. When size matters
If you want to capture larger images, such as art prints, high resolution camera mode means you can capture Raw + JPEG images up to 80MP in size. Allowing you to achieve detail and depth of image, your subject will need to remain stationary for a moment to get the best results.

See before you shoot
A large 0.83x OLED live viewfinder (120fps frame rate) gives you full control over what you're shooting and makes even difficult adjustments as simple as shooting against the sun. By switching between the three zoom modes, you can be sure that your frame is in perfect focus.
