Description
The Zeiss XD 15mm T/2.9 Compact Prime lens is a rigid wide-angle cinema and video model designed for use with mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensors.
Characteristic of this series are the new eXtended Data connections, which transmit real-time basic lens metadata (focal length, focus position, iris setting and depth of field calculation) both via a Cooke /i interface on the mount itself and via 4-pin LEMO connection on the lens body.
All models in the series share the same front diameter, ring gear arrangement and mechanical design. Due to their identical characteristics, the lenses and compatible accessories can be easily and quickly exchanged for others.
Another feature of the lenses in this series is the interchangeable mounts. If you wish to mount your CP.3 lens to another camera, this can be done quickly and easily.
An anti-reflective coating prevents glare for increased contrast and color rendering, and the improved ergonomic design with reduced dimensions and even weight distribution ensures comfortable use of the lens in all situations.
The housing is protected from moisture, dust and extreme temperatures, which enables operation even in adverse climatic conditions.
