Description

NIKON PC 19MM F/4E ED TILT-SHIFT

Get ready for a higher level of control with a perspective-view PC NIKKOR 19mm f / 4E ED lens.
As the first PC-NIKKOR lens to use two rotation mechanisms for the PC, this lens offers a higher level of flexibility. Ideal for capturing architecture, fine arts and landscapes, it is designed for photographers who have a subtle sense of space.
Tilting and shifting can be triggered individually and in combination, largely repeating the movements of a wide-view camera. The ultra-wide viewing angle allows you to represent the actual proportions of the scene or to shoot more of the building and less of the foreground. The optical construction guarantees exceptional image quality throughout the frame.

NIKON PC 19MM F/4E ED TILT-SHIFT TAKE CONTROL: A 19mm PC NIKKOR Ultra Wide Angle Lens with Perspective Control

Offering a powerful combination of angle and image quality, this FX format lens for perspective-controlled manual focus offers exceptional freedom of composition. Its unique tilting, panning and twisting capabilities give you extensive control over the focal plane of the lens. Moving it easily creates images that are not affected by convergence. And by tilting it, it creates landscapes that are clear from the foreground to the background, without the need to close the diaphragm. The 19mm viewing angle is ideal for large buildings and spaces (when mounted on a DX-format digital SLR, the viewing angle is equivalent to that of a 28.5mm focal length lens with an FX / 35mm format).

NIKON PC 19MM F/4E ED TILT-SHIFT HIGH PRECISION: NIKKOR'S LEGENDARY QUALITY

Like all NIKKOR lenses, the PC NIKKOR 19mm f / 4E ED produces images with exceptional clarity and sharpness. Thanks to its unique optical construction, the distortion that is common with wide-angle lenses is minimized even at the edges of the frame. Both aspherical lenses greatly reduce coma and other types of aberrations. Three extremely low dispersion glass elements minimize axial chromatic aberration. Nikon's nanocrystalline coating virtually eliminates phantoms and glare throughout the frame, even in counter-situations.

TURNING TWO LEVELS FOR PC: PICTURE FROM THE IDEAL ORIGINAL POSITION

Both PC rotation mechanisms make it easy to capture images that perfectly reflect your vision. You can rotate the lens around its own axis and adjust the tilt and shift direction individually. Tilting can be parallel or perpendicular to the displacement, which is useful when you want to avoid trapezoidal distortion in architectural building images without having to trim after subsequent editing. The entire lens can be rotated up to 90 ° in any direction with fixed positions of 30 ° and 60 °. When rotating tilting, the lens can be rotated to 90 ° with a fixed 45 ° position. You can also lock the lens to "0" and use it as a 19mm manual focus lens.

PROBABLE WORK: EXCELLENT CONSTRUCTION, EXCLUSIVE ERGONOMY

The robust relocation mechanism allows for trouble-free operation when adjusting perspectives. It is not necessary to use the shift lock mechanism to lock the lens position, which avoids unnecessary movement of the camera. The lens is compact and weighs approximately 885 g. It also comes with Nikon fluorine coating, which actively repels water, dust and dirt without compromising image quality. The coating is applied to the surface of the foremost element, which facilitates cleaning of the glass without damaging its surface.
