Description

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is a compact mirrorless camera with interchangeable optics with a micro 4/3 sensor that offers a combination of speed, precision and versatility.

Equipped with a 20.4-megapixel MOS sensor and TruePic VIII processor, the E-M5 III offers a high-speed series of 10 frames per second (when using a mechanical shutter), up to 30 frames per second when using an electronic shutter, as well as DCI / UHD 4K video recording .

The combination of sensor and processor allows a wide range of light sensitivity up to ISO 25600, 5-axis image stabilization compensates for hand shake with up to 6.5 steps for sharp hand-held photos in harsh lighting conditions.

The Olympus E-M5 Mark III features 121 cross-type autofocus points for phase detection, combined with 121 autofocus points with contrast detection for fast and precise autofocus and tracking of the selected subject.

Extremely compact

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is lightweight and compact, even complete with the most powerful telescope lens.

Extremely compact

Remarkable image quality

With the 20.4MP Live MOS sensor, you get sharp, crisp images with more detail, even when shooting in motion or in low light. Adding an anti-reflection coating reduces glare and unwanted reflections, and the TruePic VIII processor adds remarkable speed and image quality. Sensor-processor collaboration provides high performance, ISO 200-25600 (64-25600) light sensitivity, and multiple 4K video recording capabilities.

The E-M5 Mark III's 5-Axis body stabilization compensates for shake, and if you use a lens with built-in stabilization, you can use the Sync IS function, which will give you up to a whopping 6.5 steps of compensation.

Remarkable image quality

AF System

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III features a sophisticated autofocus system that combines 121 crossover phase points and 121 contrast points that provide precise and fast autofocus even in dynamic light conditions, as well as improved object tracking capabilities . The camera has several focus modes that you can easily and quickly select at the touch of a button, whether you're shooting macro or sports. For portrait photography, you can rely on the E-M5 Mark III's Face Detection feature, which lets you effortlessly focus on the subject, even the eye you choose, just by tapping the display or pressing the shutter button.

Robust construction

The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is dust and moisture proof and can withstand cold temperatures up to -10 ° C

Shooting modes

Pro Capture

Pro Capture Mode is a unique setting where you start recording and buffering full-resolution JPEG or RAW files when you are halfway through. As soon as you press the shutter button fully up to 14 images are added to the real shot. This gives you the opportunity to "go back" a little bit and choose the right moment.

Focus Stacking & Bracketing

These two features in the E-M5 Mark III are very valuable, especially for macro photography. With Focus Stacking, 8 images are automatically recorded in the camera, with the focus plane shifting slightly at each frame, and you finally get one file that shows extended depth of field. With Focus Bracketing, you can record between 3-999 frames by manually composing and assembling the final image on a computer.

* These two modes work with the following lenses: M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm f / 2.8 Macro, 12-40mm f / 2.8 PRO, 40-150mm f / 2.8 PRO, 30mm f / 3.5 Macro, 7-14mm f / 2.8 PRO, 8mm f / 1.8 Fisheye PRO, 300mm f / 4 IS PRO and 12-100mm f / 4 IS PRO

Live Composite, Live Bulb & Live Time

Live Composite is a unique continuous exposure mode that allows you to gradually build your image over time without overexposing key elements in the frame. This mode works only to record newly discovered light sources and allows you to watch how the image develops, making it suitable for capturing the footprints that stars leave on Earth's motion or other moving light sources.

Live Bulb and Live Time settings can be used to create long-lasting creative images. Live Bulb allows you to keep the shutter open for up to one minute, and Live Time allows you to press the shutter button once to open the shutter and then press again within a minute to end the exposure.

Lens Olympus ZD Micro 60mm f / 2.8 ED Macro

The Olympus ZD Micro 60mm f/2.8 ED Macro lens is a rigid telephoto macro lens for MFT-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 120mm equivalent focal length.

M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm 1: 2.8 Macro

Want to take high-resolution macro shots, striking contrast and detail? The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm 1: 2.8 Macro lens delivers all this and much more when it comes to image quality, functionality and durability. Being a specialized macro lens, it enables close-up (1: 1) shooting as well as continuous focus from that distance to infinity. Made with incredible precision, it has an internal focus system with removable lenses that can capture the same quality of quality as macro shots, landscapes, portraits and more. On an aperture, you get the effect of "shallow DOF", ie shallow depth of field, emphasizing the contrast between the crystal sharpness and detail of the main subject and a defocused background with a nice, circular bokeh. In addition to having high-tech and innovative mechanisms on the inside, it is remarkably durable on the outside as well: its body is moisture-proof and dust-proof, with a specially coated glass on the front lens. With dixox you can easily change the focal length in the range 0.19-0.4m or 0.19m-infinity or 0.4-infinity). It also has a special display that shows the actual focal length for better shooting control. You can additionally come with an automatic aperture that can slide back and forth to reduce glare and protect the lens.

Flash Olympus OLYMPUS STF-8 MACRO FLASH

Olympus is pleased to present the world's first macro-flash with dust, spray and frost-resistant (-10 ° C) construction in a lightweight and compact design that makes it perfect for any type of environment, whether jungle or desert.
The STF-8 supports flash shooting when combined with cameras with focus and bracketing modes. This feature is very useful when shooting flowers, insects and commercial photos in a photo studio.
The adapter ring is compatible with M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 30mm 1: 3.5 Macro, M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm 1: 2.8 Macro and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-40mm 1: 2.8 PRO.
This compact macro flash gives you versatile and creative lighting options by controlling the output light of each single or double head. When both dual flash heads are used, GN is 8.5 and when only one is used, GN is 6. In addition to TTL Auto Sync precision control mode, you can set the flash to increase 1/3 of the pitch using the camera in manual mode and increase by 1 step through the flash drive. The main flash can also serve as a command for controlling multiple flash units.
