Smooth and fast autofocus: NIKON STEP MOTOR
Nikon's new stepper motor guarantees fast lens focus, and its quiet operation makes it ideal for filming. When zooming in on a photo, you can focus your subject instantly and with absolute precision. When shooting a video, the engine lets you smoothly shift focus almost silently.
QUALITY IMAGES, FEATURED BY NIKON
This DX-format NIKKOR lens is specifically designed to utilize the optimum high pixel count and advanced Nikon D-SLR image sensor. Extremely low dispersion (ED) glass element helps reduce chromatic aberration for high resolution images with bright colors, high sharpness and excellent contrast.
Vibration Reduction (VR)
Designed for more stable shooting at hand, Nikon's impressive vibration reduction system allows you to shoot at up to four stops at lower speeds. This means you will be able to achieve clear blurry images even when shooting at the far end of the phone in low light. You can turn the vibration reduction feature on and off using the camera's menu.
SIMPLE MANAGEMENT
You can switch between autofocus and manual focus using the camera menu³. The ability to change the focus settings of the camera menu instead of using the lens cylinder switches prevents accidental changes to the settings when you want to shoot.
