The sensor has an optical low pass filter (OLPF) removed for maximum sharpness and perfect transmission for even finer textures. The excellent photo and video capture capabilities of the Nikon D5300 also include a flexible 39-point AF system and a 2016 pixel RGB exposure metering sensor.
Quick and easy sharing takes care of the Wi-Fi feature, and built-in GPS adds location information to your photos.
Full 24.2 megapixel power: Designed specifically with no optical low pass filter (OLPF), the D5300's image sensor uses up to a maximum of 24.2 megapixel resolution for clear capturing of even the finest textures and imaging detail with incredibly sharp.
39-point autofocus system: With its 39 focal points incorporating nine center-type sensors, the D5300's autofocus system is incredibly accurate. Advanced 3D object tracking keeps even the smallest objects in focus, as unpredictable as their movements.
2016-pixel RGB Metering Sensor: The D5300's incredibly accurate metering sensor delivers accurate exposures and sends data to the Scene Recognition System, which optimizes autofocus, autofocus and auto white balance to deliver first-class results.
5 frames per second burst speed: Capture action with a quick five frames per second and capture fast-moving moments or expressions at the right time.
D-MOVIES
Capture Full HD movies with smooth transitions and subtle details to be proud of (up to 50p / 60p frame rate). Continuous autofocus in live view keeps the subjects clear, even with fast-paced action.
High ISO (100-1212 800, Expandable to 25,600 equivalent)
