Description
Lens Sony FE 24-70mm f / 4 OSS Vario-Tessar T * ZA
The Sony FE 24-70mm f/4 OSS Vario-Tessar T* ZA lens is a high-quality standard constant maximum aperture vario lens for mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensors and E-mount.
Five aspherical elements and one ED element in the optical scheme suppress aberrations, the ZEISS T coating controls reflections for superior contrast, and the circular aperture contributes to a smooth background bouquet with natural highlights.
Built-in SteadyShot optical image stabilization compensates for camera shake, which can blur images when shooting handheld, and the construction prevents dust and moisture from entering the lens.
A great ZEISS zoom lens for full-frame cases
This compact zoom can get the most out of full-size E-mount cameras in a wide variety of situations. The constant maximum aperture of F4 ensures constant exposure settings throughout the zoom range from 24mm to 70mm, while the popular Z * ZEISS optics provide striking clarity and beautiful rendering. It is also dust / moisture resistant.
Universal zoom for everyday shooting
The optical performance and the range of 24 mm to 70 mm of this ZEISS Vario-Tessar® are ideally suited to the α7 body, for maximum image quality and shooting flexibility.
Precision optics deliver incredible images
Aspherical and ED optical elements contribute to high end-to-end performance with low levels of distortion and color aberrations. T * coverage minimizes glare and reflections.
Permanent exposure at each zoom setting
The maximum aperture is F4 at all focal lengths, so the user can scale and shoot at each aperture without having to keep track of changes in exposure settings or depth of field.
Always crisp and clear
Image stabilization Optical SteadyShot compensates for camera shake, which can cause defocused images at hand, for sharp, clear night scenes and low-light indoors.
Lens configuration
The legendary quality of ZEISS manufactured and calibrated specifically for Sony image retrieval products. The T * coating contributes to sophisticated rendering and contrast.
Schematic of MTF
The MTF (Modulation Transmission Function) describes how well the lens can reproduce fine details, measured as the degree of contrast achieved with short distance lines.
